Who provides out-of-hours care at Prospect House Veterinary Clinic?

Corporate out-of-hours provider: When Prospect House Veterinary Clinic is closed, out-of-hours emergency care is provided by Vets Now , part of IVC Evidensia (private equity backed).

Prospect House Veterinary Clinic itself is independently owned. But in an emergency, when you have the least choice, your pet's care may be handled by a corporate-owned provider.

Private-equity-owned providers are managed to generate a financial return. That can affect the price of out-of-hours care, which is typically the most expensive care a pet owner buys.

How we know: the practice's own disclosure
